About the Owner
Hello, my name is Tanner Kenison and I am the owner of GreenSpace Lawncare. I am an outdoors-loving perfectionist that thrives on learning everything I can to create the perfect lawn. I love meeting new clients and working towards my business’s goals.
The Start of GreenSpace
I started mowing lawns as a 10-year-old with a Honda push mower, a red wagon full of Ryobi attachments, and a cheap blower. I fell in love with the process of transforming an average-looking lawn into a carefully detailed work of art. I eventually graduated to a hood-less STX38 John Deere riding mower and a small tow behind the cart to travel between the few surrounding neighborhoods I serviced. I continued to mow throughout all middle and high school while slowly offering more services as the company progressed.
Now 15 years after cutting my first lawn, I am a fully licensed and insured S-Corporation with 8 full-time, and 3 part-time guys, 6 trucks, NC Pesticide Applicators License, and over 180 weekly serviced accounts. I personally spray 150 homes year-round.
We service South Charlotte, specifically the Waxhaw and Weddington areas. I have learned a lot over the past 15 years but am always looking to increase my knowledge and productivity.
