About the Owner
Hello, my name is Tanner Kenison and I am the owner of GreenSpace Lawncare. I am an outdoors-loving perfectionist that thrives on learning everything I can to create the perfect lawn. I love meeting new clients and working towards my business’s goals.
The Start of GreenSpace
Tanner started mowing lawns as a 10-year-old with a Honda push mower, a red wagon full of Ryobi attachments, and a cheap blower. He fell in love with the process of transforming an average-looking lawn into a carefully detailed work of art. He eventually graduated to a hood-less STX38 John Deere riding mower and a small tow behind the cart to travel between the few surrounding neighborhoods he serviced. He continued to mow throughout middle and high school while slowly offering more services as the company progressed.
Now 16 years after cutting his first lawn, he is a fully licensed and insured S-Corporation with 8 full-time, and 3 part-time guys, 6 trucks, an NC Pesticide Applicators License, and over 180 weekly serviced accounts. He personally sprays 150 homes year-round.
We service South Charlotte, specifically the Waxhaw and Weddington areas. Tanner states that he has learned a lot over the past 16 years but is always looking to increase his knowledge and productivity.
